Many of the lenders in our network stick with in-house debt collection practices rather than selling your debt to an outside collection agency, and they will never sue you or threaten criminal charges against you. Your lender may attempt to collect your debt via email, postal mail, telephone, or text message, and they may offer you a settlement so that you can repay your debt over time. All of our lenders are required to adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act which protects you from harassment. You can contact your lender for more information about its specific policies.

We encourage you to always read the terms of your loan thoroughly before accepting them, no matter where you get your loan.
APR Disclosure. Personal loan APRs vary by lender and may range from 4.99% to 450%. Cash advance loan APRs may start at 200% and reach 1386%. Installment loan APRs are typically 6.63-225%. Some states have no law limiting the APR on loans, thus the rate may be higher. The lenders are obligated to provide the APR and loan terms to the customers prior to executing a loan agreement.
If you apply online, Cash Central’s website tells you if you’re eligible for loans where you live and what type of loans it offers there. In some states, you may only be able to apply for installment loans. These loans are larger, topping out at $5,000 as opposed to $1,500 for a payday loan, and they can be paid back over a longer term. They’re just as expensive as payday loans though – the quoted APRs are the same, so you can expect to pay more than double the amount you borrow.

Advertisements for payday loans make them seem like a fast, easy, no-nonsense way to get money when you’re in a financial bind. They tell you getting $100 is as easy as showing a recent pay stub, a copy of your driver’s license, and a blank check. They don’t tell you that for many people, paying off that $100 can end up taking months, even years, and costing thousands of dollars to pay off.

Wedding is one of the most important events, if not most important event in anybody’s life. As such everybody wants their wedding to be a dream wedding. But the conversion of dream to reality comes at a price. Sometimes unexpected may happen may and leave you in a cash crunch, unable to meet the need of the hour. And in many instances it might not be possible to cut down the expenses. Wedding expenses does not include just the cost of the main wedding function, but also things like jewelleries, clothes, gifts, engagement, reception and honeymoon. The price for all these is normally much more than what a middle class income group can afford to spend.

You may ask why it makes sense to use a cash loan to pay your credit card or overdue bills when it may simply add up to more debt. The primary reason is that it will most likely cost you much less in the long run compared to the late charges or overdraft fees you might incur from neglecting to make payments on other bills. A cash loan can be an excellent source of quick liquidity that can help protect you from falling too far behind. Yes, the interest rates may be higher than many loans, but you are paying for convenience and timing. Consider the kinds of charges you will owe without using a cash loan and compare it to the interest to determine the savings each alternative would provide.
After you write the check, the lender gives you the cash or automatically deposits the loan into your checking account. Then, on your payday, the lender cashes your check unless you extend the loan. Extend the loan, also known as “rolling over” the loan, costs another fee and allows you to keep the loan for another period. You're charged a fee each time you roll over the loan.

If you find yourself in a situation where you're considering a payday loan, explore alternatives first. If you have emergency expenses, consider using a credit card or finding a cosigner for a personal loan. These have lower interest rates and don’t put you in as much of a bind as payday loans. The balloon payment when the term of your payday loan expires can leave you short when your next paycheck arrives, which can force you into taking out another to pay for your expenses. In cases like this, making minimum payments on a credit card, while not ideal, is a better option than being caught in a payday loan debt trap.
If you are unable to pay your loan when it is due, Moneytree offers a payment plan for payday loans only. You must request a payment plan before the deposit time on the day your loan is due to restructure the payment terms to at least four (4) substantially equal payments. You may choose this option once per 12-month period. There is no charge to enter into the payment plan.
